Location

What is your perfect location?

Oh!  The places we can go …. (remember the Dr. Suess book?).  In the metro Atlanta area, the possiblitites are endless for creating a setting for your session.  Your home, local park, in town, up town and down town, fields or pastures, near creeks, rivers, and ponds or lakes, there are so many places we can go to get that perfect look for you.  The key is to determine a location that fits you best.  When booking takes place, I will consult with you via phone or e-mail about what setting best suits you and what you have in mind.

Scheduling Times

Understand that timing is crucial to a successful photo shoot, as the mid day and early afternoon sun is bold and often blinding when we creatively work to achieve the greatest quality in your photos.

Early morning and an hour or so prior to sunset are the best times to capture natural lighting for delicious pics!

If you happen to want pics from inside your home or inside other facilities, I require that there be large enough windows for allowing natural lighting to adequately enter the room in which we will be shooting.  And hardwood floors are absolutely wonderful for inside shoots.

What to Wear

What you wear tells everyone about who you are.  Let’s have fun!  Bring lots of things that you can change into, layer, and something I refer to as “flair.”  Flair icludes jewelry, scarves, hats, tights, and any other colorful accessories you may have.  I really enjoy bold and fresh colors.  But simplicity can also be very tasty to the eyes.

When you contact me to book a session, I will consult with you via telephone or e-mail about your wardrobe for the shoot.

Karla - Good morning,

I’m interested in taking pics for my daughters 1st bday and some of my husband and I. I would be interested in purchasing a cd with the images instead of prints. Please let me know your prices and your next available date. Also do you use props in your pictures?

Thanks,

Karla
